Originally from the rolling hills of Wisconsin, Carmen began her musical studies at age three after enrolling in violin lessons. Together they spent almost twenty years touring Wisconsin performing a variety of programs for audiences of all ages. She began her postsecondary studies at the University of Wisconsin Platteville, where she completed coursework in theatre and also studied violin and voice.
Carmen went on to complete her bachelor's degree in violin performance at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and her masters degree in violin performance and literature at Western University. A skilled and dedicated instructor, Carmen is often in demand as a teacher.
She is a certified Advanced Specialist with the Royal Conservatory of Music, has taught at music schools throughout the States and Canada, worked as a graduate teaching assistant, adjudicated for the American Guild of Music National Convention and Contest and Merriam School of Music Group Festival, worked as a summer festival clinician, given orchestral workshops in both primary and secondary school settings, presented university masterclasses, and had four of her pedagogical articles published.

The ensemble started as big band, but has since morphed Trio o c saboroso de hoffman perform in various permutations, depending on the project. The group operates on the borders between diverse subgenres of contemporary music: Studio Dan is the only Austrian large ensemble belonging neither to the jazz big band mainstream nor to the strictly interpretive contemporary chamber music culture.

A dedicated pedagogue, he teaches a large and internationally diverse studio at the University of Iowa, School of Music. Tsachor was invited by Maestro Zubin Mehta to perform with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and has played with prestigious European orchestras as well as with all the major orchestras in Israel.
Tsachor has performed numerous times over twenty-five different concerti. Since his Lincoln Center debut with the New York City Symphony, described by The New York Times as "glittering brilliance," Tsachor has been performing throughout the United States as recitalist, soloist with orchestra and chamber musician. Uriel Tsachor has recorded many programs for radio and television stations in the United States, Israel and several countries in Europe.

This event is part of ClimateKeysan initiative launching with over thirty concerts in nine countries during October and November to raise engagement with CoP23, the UN climate talks taking place in November. ClimateKeys, founded by London-based composer pianist Lola Perrin, features concert pianists and climate change experts collaborating with the audience about positive response to climate change.
To date, over a hundred concert musicians and expert speakers in twenty countries have joined ClimateKeys. Climate change can often feel overwhelming. We see hurricanes fueled by global warming devastating the Caribbean and floods inundating Bangladesh while ships ply the Northwest Passage and fires rage in Western Canada. The challenge is large, the response often seems slow at best, and time is short to begin making significant changes.
Where do we look for hope?
Fortunately people and communities and organizations all over theworld are responding to climate change Trio o c saboroso de hoffman there is momentum locally and globally to generate the kind of transformations weneed to address climate change.
